The electronic locks for cabinet works by transponder technology.
The electronic locks are applicable to any type of cabinet in wood, metal or laminate and the type of bracelet or card which can be used is the Mifare (1k or 4k). It is battery powered with an operation range of 3-5 years or 15,000 cycles with notice of 1,000 openings remaning. Installation is very simple and consists in fixing the mechanical lock inside the door and fixing the reader outside. Normally you can exploit the hole of a regular mechanical lock.
